Alberto Oscar was born in Lovere, Italy, on October 16, 1963. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineer graduated from the
Politecnico University (Milan, Italy) in 1988. Mr. Oscar is currently active member of CEI/IEC TC11 and TC78 (WG12). Mr. Oscar is the Technical Director and Senior Chief Engineer at Tesmec SpA, Italy, where it leads a large team of design engineers specific to the design and manufacture of transmission and distribution overhead and underground cable stringing machine and equipment.

The 2010 1st International Conference on Applied Robotics for the Power Industry (CARPI 2010) is a three-day event that will bring together stakeholders interested in robotics applications in the power industry.
