Innovation in underground utilities and buried objects detection processes through advanced digital technologies

East Trenchers S.r.l. developed the GROOVE project with the aim of exploring and advancing cutting‑edge digital technologies based on Artificial Intelligence models and ground‑penetrating radar (GPR) data analysis. The target was to digitalize and optimize processes for identifying underground utilities and buried objects to support excavation operations. The project enabled in‑depth exploration of data‑processing methodologies and the evaluation of new solutions to support highly technical operational activities.
