Tesmec and the University of Bergamo have signed a five-year framework collaboration agreement, launching a strategic partnership focused on advancing research, skills development and technological innovation, with the aim of generating tangible value for the local area.

The agreement is rooted in a shared vision: to strengthen structured dialogue between academia and industry, integrating scientific knowledge and industrial application in response to today’s and tomorrow’s key challenges. From the energy transition to infrastructure digitalisation and the evolution of production systems, the partnership is designed as a concrete tool to create value and support the sustainable and qualified growth of the local innovation ecosystem.

A central focus of the agreement is placed on skills development and human capital. The partnership paves the way for advanced training and professional development initiatives, including programmes within the Tesmec Academy, delivered in collaboration with SdM – the School of Advanced Education of the University of Bergamo. The agreement also includes mutual support for teaching activities, the activation of internships, traineeships and thesis projects, as well as opportunities for knowledge sharing and dissemination, with the goal of supporting students and young talents in accessing qualified career pathways.

For Tesmec, this agreement represents a long-term investment in the local area, in people and in the development of advanced skills, reaffirming the Group’s role as a highly innovative technology partner and a responsible contributor to the economic and social development of the communities in which it operates. At the same time, the collaboration strengthens the role of the University of Bergamo as a driver of growth and innovation, capable of aligning education with emerging market needs and creating valuable connections between research, industry and qualified employment.
