"Tesmec is strengthening its international presence with a new €71‑million order from the Slovenian railway network. The agreement— which pushed the share price up by a further 2.7% yesterday, bringing total shareholder return to 186% over the past twelve months — builds on the know‑how the company has developed in recent years through projects in the Czech Republic, France, Bulgaria, Egypt and Morocco, further consolidating its international vocation.

“The launch of operations in Slovenia represents a strategic milestone for Tesmec,” the Group states. “The country is a key rail hub located at the intersection of the Baltic–Adriatic and Mediterranean TEN‑T corridors, placing it at the centre of Europe’s railway electrification efforts. These new contracts confirm Tesmec’s ability to systematically enhance the know‑how developed in Italy and translate it into competitive technological solutions on a European scale. They also mark another step forward in the capitalisation of the investments made in recent years in the Railway division, and form part of a structured path of international diversification, one of the fundamental drivers of the division’s strategy.”

“The technology we are delivering to Slovenia can also be deployed—with the required adaptations—in Austria, Croatia, Hungary and across all countries along these corridors,” explained Tesmec’s Chairman, Ambrogio Caccia Dominioni. “We have the industrial capacity, technical support network and expertise needed to act as a reference supplier at the continental level. In this sense, Slovenia plays a pioneering role: it is the first country along this corridor to recognise the value of an Italian‑made solution. We are confident that this choice will open the way to broader collaboration and to a European industrial dialogue in which Italy—through companies like Tesmec—can play a leading role.”
