Peripheral remote terminal unit

Tesmec new RTU solution is specifically designed for remote control of secondary MV/LV substations.

The device TC-UPL20, is based on a modular architecture and it is fully configurable t meet the automation and control requirements, such as protocol handling for communication with the Control Center, field data acquisition and storage, FPI and fault detectors management, switch disconnectors’ and CBs’ control, and more.

TC-UPL20 implements the several protocols: IEC 61850, TCP/IP Modbus, IEC 60870-5-101 and IEC 60870-5-104, MQTT, DBR-DSR automation.

The device provides all the latest cybersecurity features, including HTTPS web server, encrypted communications, centralized secure authentication through RADIUS protocol, role-based access control.
